Sunset/Studios was brought on to execute the vision of a futuristic retail pop-up experience using a dynamic 360˚ approach. Each carefully selected creative involved featured an exclusive piece or collection made for Basic.Space, the collection displayed as an immersive art gallery rather than the typical retail presentation. The exclusive merchandise was produced in limited quantities and offered for sale on Basic.Space’s URL and for those not able to attend, we commissioned a 3D artist to recreate the IRL experience in the metaverse, complete with interactive shopping capabilities. 

Sunset helped shape the partnership with each participating artist and was the point of contact for all hands-on event execution. With a set budget, we advised on how to best amplify the project including shaping the VIP guest list, crafting the story that would appeal to media outlets, guiding each artist to promote the event via their own channels/audiences, and creating on-site photo moments for tons of user-generated content/engagement.  Read more on how the event was named “BEST ART BASEL EVENT” by Paper Magazine here
