Kylie Fragrance Launch 2024

OVERVIEW

To celebrate Kylie’s debut fragrance, we were tasked with producing an event that captured COSMIC’s otherworldly feminine essence, while feeling as cool and inspiring as Kylie herself.

The Process:

Our creative strategy began with ideation around concepts in response to the client brief. We explored three directions: 

  • a stunty oversized perfume bottle replica on the concrete streets of NYC
  • an ethereal outdoor stargazing event/launch party
  • an interactive, branded pop-up wedding chapel. 

We also presented other out-of-the-box thought starters to inspire the team, and budgeted out various scenarios for the client to evaluate and choose from. 

Our process resulted in a glitzy one-night affair at the James Goldstein house, partnering with the CoStar app and 818 Tequila in conjunction with a OOH campaign in Toronto Canada, Los Angeles California, New York, NY and Chicago, IL. The elevated event wowed attendees, leaving the kind of lasting impact that Kylie is known for while the Out-of-Home campaign gained mass awareness. With an arresting visual composition featuring surreal lighting, impactful photo moments, florals and ongoing campaign video that centered the product and encouraged UGC, we helped establish Kylie and COSMIC as iconic figures in the fragrance world. Sunset handled a supporting OOH campaign in NYC, LA, Chicago and Canada as well as an event partnership with Astrology App Co-Star.
